Meet our Trustees
Christine Plummer
I am Christine only sister of Laurence and I live in a beautiful Kent village near Canterbury. I am grandmother to 5 avid football and sport mad grandkids. I am retired and enjoying my twilight years fundraising for our Charity whilst also walking and travelling around UK as much as I can.
Ryan Plummer
Hi, I'm Ryan, son of Laurence. Married to Jodi with two lovely children. I'm a management accountant and Treasurer for Hollands & Blair Football Club. Football has been a big part of our family's life and has created many friendship groups. Through The Foundation I hope to continue my late father's drive and enthusiasm to help those in need and give back to the local community.
Rebecca Hook (Nee Plummer)
Hi I’m Bex, Laurence’s daughter. I am a wife and proud mum to two great boys. I have worked in education for over 20 years in a local primary school and recently started training to support children with emotional and mental health difficulties. I am proud and excited to be a part of The Laurence Plummer Foundation and know this will be a huge success in helping disadvantaged children in sport, therefore enabling my dad’s powerful influence and legacy to continue.
Kirsty Tydeman
I’m a chartered accountant, I have a close connection to the Plummer family. I was honoured to be asked to be a trustee of the charity that will carry on the legacy of such an amazing man. He has encouraged so many people through his love of sport especially football. Football is a big part of my family’s life and has played a big part in giving my children confidence and helping them express themselves. It will be great to be part of the charity that can give other children the same opportunities.

Martin Bass
Married with two incredible children and one amazing grandson. I live in Rainham and have been a local to Medway all my life. Work as a Sales Manager by day. I'm a ‘UEFA B' Licensed coach and have worked at both Charlton Athletic and Gillingham FC development centres and currently run and coach at The Hollands & Blair FC Soccer School. I'm also Vice Chair at Blair after spending a few season as first team coach. The vision and drive for me and the other trustees is to make sure that the funds we raise are put to use helping those who need a guiding towards achieving a sporting challenge, whether its at elite level or just to be able to participate at a sport that appeals to them, we will do what we can to make the road a little easier to navigate. Plum was a mentor too many and a friend to us all and we miss him. It's in Plums honour that we do this and for me, it's a privilege and an honour to be part of this fantastic team of volunteers.
Stewart Carroll
I’m Stewart, Rainham born and bred. I’ve known Plum for over 30 years having played football against his son Ryan, from the age of 10, then joining his beloved Hollands & Blair team 10 years later. I am delighted to be part of The Laurence Plummer Foundation and excited to be involved in the process of influencing the lives of young children and adults for the better.
Martin May
I'm a local PE Teacher who has worked in the Sports industry for over 20 years. I first met Laurence Plummer (Plum) when I joined Hollands & Blair as a player back in 2008, I later joined the committee and worked alongside Plum assisting with funding projects for the club. This foundation is hugely important to me so that we can continue Plum's legacy and give back to others just as Plum did for over 30 years.
